Been playing with the new LJ picture resizing feature. Behold my new icon. *g*

Anyway, I came across this picture:

And I nearly had a heart attack. When did Mr. Darcy get so scary?

I don't know if anybody on my flist could do this, but I'm putting it out there anyway:

I really want an icon featuring the following things:
a picture of George-Michael Bluth and Maeby Fünke from Arrested Development
a picture of Fanny Price and Edmund Bertram from Mansfield Park (preferably Miller/O'Connor, NOT Farrell/Le Touzel)
and the words "Cousin Lovin'"

Hee! Maybe more cousin couples, but those are the ones I really want.

*checks userinfo*

What is this new Schools thing listed? *poke*

I guess it could come in handy for finding some old friends of mine from Detroit, if they happened to be on LJ, but since I was home-schooled all my life, is probably mostly irrelevant. *g*

You know, I chose this icon with very spiteful thoughts in my head, but I've grown to really love it. I love the look on MM's face. It's really beautiful. I never would have noticed it if it hadn't been frozen just this way. *sigh*

I've just about made up my mind to switch to a paid account. Mostly because of the icons. There are just so many that I want.

For instance, I found a Gormenghast icon that is a picture of Dr. Prunesquallor and it says "It's so tiresome to be the only good guy with a brain." Hee!

I still don't know how to make icons that move, however. Anybody? Bueller?

well, I've changed my layout once again, deciding to go with brown instead of green. This layout is much more to my taste than the pastels of the previous one. *shudder* And I've done away with mood icons altogether. The ones they had were all either too cutesy or too blah, and I don't have the time or patience to make my own, so I've decided to go without. Am satisfied for the present.

My computer got hit in the last week or so with an awful spyware bug called Aurora. (I have heard something about a class-action suit against the people, whoever they are, that put it out there. Hmm.) I got rid of the pop-ups, but my poor computer is still feeling the effects, so I've been downloading supposed helps ever since I got home from work. Spybot has been acting weird for me for quite awhile, but it actually succeeded in deleting some stuff for me today. Am also trying Ad-Aware for the first time. It's in the middle of a deep system scan as I type. I'm just hoping I don't screw everything up worse by deleting something I actually need.

Also, have been fiddling with my LJ settings. I wanted to be able to include links in my journal, but so far, I don't really like the set-ups that offer that option. This one, at least, though I like the layout, is really way too pastel for my tastes.

okay, so usually I hate Saturdays. This one has been okay. I'm sitting here with my Dr Pepper and potato chips, my feet are propped up, I'm enjoying myself grandly. Still fiddling with my account some. Hope to have it somewhat presentable soon.

Okay, I'm what, four hours into this membership? And I already loathe my user name. Maybe I'll delete and start over.

Which is another reason I never kept a real journal: I'm fickle. Which I guess is still the same reason, but hey, it's 2:06 AM where I am.

Ugh. I need to go to bed.

Gah. First time posting. Never thought I'd open one of these things, and yet here I am. I'm not entirely pleased with the layout, but I'm sure I'll be able to come up with something. Either that or live with it. Not a big deal.

And yet, after all this, I'll probably end up as one of those "never updates" people. Is why I never kept a real journal.
