I've decided not to stress over economics. This is mostly because I think it's probably the same way algebra was for me: I expected it to be really hard, so I thought I didn't get it, when actually I did, it was just much easier than I expected. Once I relaxed with algebra, it clicked, and I'm sure it'll be the same for economics. :)

In other news, I downloaded Writer's Cafe on recommendation from [livejournal.com profile] wendybarron. I've only gotten a chance to tinker with it a little bit, but it seems like exactly what I need to help keep my stories straight. As God is my witness, I will never forget to follow up on a plot point again!! *brandishes radish in the air*

I'm so glad you like it! I think it's fantastic, and one of my writing pals, [livejournal.com profile] enjae is in transports of joy about it.

Which Econ are you taking - macro or micro? I loved micro (got a B), but totally hated the instructor I had for macro (he didn't teach, he lectured - yawn!) so barely passed that one. (Interestingly, thinking about the arrogant ratbag still has the power to increase my blood pressure, and that was at least seven years ago!)

Right now, macro. Will probably have to take micro eventually, though.

My instructor's okay. He is a bit of a hardass, but he seems like he's trying to help the students.

My one worry is that 10% of our grade is class participation. I can get into that if he's asking questions we can answer, but if it seems like he wants us to ask questions.....I don't have any questions! I understand what he's saying most of the time, and when I don't, I get clarification from the textbook.

*sigh*

If your economics is taught anything like our economics - graphs. Lots and lots of graphs. Ie try and understand the graphs and what they all mean, and how to integrate them into written answers etc.

But that of course is based on your being taught it like we were ;)
