I've decided not to stress over economics. This is mostly because I think it's probably the same way algebra was for me: I expected it to be really hard, so I thought I didn't get it, when actually I did, it was just much easier than I expected. Once I relaxed with algebra, it clicked, and I'm sure it'll be the same for economics. :)
In other news, I downloaded Writer's Cafe on recommendation from
wendybarron. I've only gotten a chance to tinker with it a little bit, but it seems like exactly what I need to help keep my stories straight. As God is my witness, I will never forget to follow up on a plot point again!! *brandishes radish in the air*

Which Econ are you taking - macro or micro? I loved micro (got a B), but totally hated the instructor I had for macro (he didn't teach, he lectured - yawn!) so barely passed that one. (Interestingly, thinking about the arrogant ratbag still has the power to increase my blood pressure, and that was at least seven years ago!)
Re: *ducks to avoid radish*
My instructor's okay. He is a bit of a hardass, but he seems like he's trying to help the students.
My one worry is that 10% of our grade is class participation. I can get into that if he's asking questions we can answer, but if it seems like he wants us to ask questions.....I don't have any questions! I understand what he's saying most of the time, and when I don't, I get clarification from the textbook.
*sigh*
Re: *ducks to avoid radish*
But that of course is based on your being taught it like we were ;)
