Wedding was nice. Reception was underwhelming. More details later.

I really just wanted to say that it's posts like this that make me really sad.

Wish I were brave/foolish enough to reply, but there are a few who have already taken up the gauntlet.

Also, my grandfather is having an emergency quadruple bypass tomorrow morning, so everybody please keep him in your thoughts/prayers. His name is Neal.

Some of the posts that are drawing attention have me hoping it is just the usual six-month flare-ups that the TPTB will clamp down on. The site certainly has grown from those halcyon *smirks* days some recall, but I don’t think it means all of those qualities that have distinguished that board from other fandoms must be proportionally diminished.

Personally, I think it's a troll. One troll, that is. James and Anne Gels have an eerily similar pretension going on in their posts. James does seem more militant, though.
