So I've been reading a lot of Terry Pratchett lately. Actually, I read a couple back when my grandmother was dying, and then I read a bunch last year when my family were getting ready to move. So far I've read The Colour of Magic, The Light Fantastic, Equal Rites, Maskerade, Monstrous Regiment, Thud!, Night Watch, Guards! Guards!, Mort, The Truth, Thief of Time, The Fifth Elephant (which I don't really remember a lot about, honestly), and Moving Pictures. I have already bought, though have yet to read, Good Omens, Small Gods, Going Postal, Wyrd Sisters, and Pyramids, and I'm in the middle of Reaper Man right now. :)

This is how it is when I discover an author I like: I devour everything of theirs I can get my hands on, as fast as my schedule will allow. I'm enjoying myself thoroughly.

Pterry rules! :) I'm re-reading Guards Guards for the umpteenth time or so at the moment. What can I say? It's the only laughs I get at the moment.

Have fun discovering Terry!

I think you'll enjoy Good Omens. At least, I always do. :)

I do sort of like you when I find a new author, but in spurts. I read half-a-dozen Pratchetts in a row a couple of years ago and then moved on to something else. You're making me want to go back and read some more.

Whoomph. That's is very nearly a Pratchett overdose. No wonder you can't remember a lot about Fifth Elephant :-)

(No really, Fifth Elephant doesn't really stick, plotwise, I find. Makes it an interesting re-read.)

I remember when I was busy acquiring Pratchetts and Waterstones put them up in the "3 for 2" December lot. Happy times.

I forgot to mention Sourcery -- I read that one, too.

Is Fifth Elephant the one with Angua's werewolf family and that whole bit with Carrot vs the Wolfman? I liked that one. It was tense.

Yep, that's the one. :)

Whee I love Pratchett!

I weirdly adore Pyramids. I find it freaking hilarious.

Good Omens! I adore that book to bits. Literally. :))
