Yes, fanfiction is allowed, but mine won't technically be fanfiction. I mean, some of the same characters are there, but I'm not sure yet how big of a role they'll play, considering most of the story will be set in the U.S.
So it doesn't meet my criteria for fanfiction, but would probably be allowed on the boards. :)
