Apr. 17th, 2006 11:22 pmWent out to eat yesterday with my brother and my parents. Had a very nice waitress who served us very well. However, one thing annoyed me: every. single. time she removed something from the table, she said, "Let me get that out the way for you."
"Out the way."
Everything else she said was nice and correct. No discernible accent. It's just that one phrase. It kept throwing me off, because it was so unexpected.
